From the moment I met Taylah and Charlie, I was immediately swept up in their love for each other, their connection was so clear to see and impossible not to feel as I listened to their story and learned more about their love. It was clear they are soulmates. There’s a kind of quiet magic between them.
On a warm summer’s afternoon, tucked away on a beautiful property by one of Newcastle’s most beautiful beaches, Taylah and Charlie were married in the most intimate and love-filled celebration. Surrounded by just a handful of their closest people, their wedding ceremony was everything they had dreamed of: simple, heartfelt, and full of meaning.

When we started planning their ceremony, they shared that what mattered most to them was being present with their nearest and dearest. They wanted a wedding ceremony that was short and sweet, without an extended story, but still full of genuine emotion. And it truly was. They exchanged the most beautiful personal vows, had one of their closest friends as their ring bearer, and invited their mums to witness their marriage. Every detail was thoughtfully chosen and deeply personal.

The ceremony setting was styled in an elegant, romantic and contemporary palette - white florals, soft greenery, silk signage and stone plinths - creating a relaxed elegance that suited the whole day perfectly.
What made the experience even more special was the intimacy of the group. Every guest there had played a part in Taylah and Charlie’s story, and the atmosphere reflected that sense of connection and love. It was the kind of ceremony that felt like a warm hug.

After their “I do’s,” a champagne tower kicked off the celebrations in style, followed by glasses of bubbles and a lush grazing board before the couple headed off to portraits by the ocean, just a few footsteps out the door.

Then, on to their reception with their extended circle of family and friends. A perfect blend of intimacy and celebration, grounded in love and surrounded by the people who matter most.
